Animal substances in condoms?

Actually, all condoms could be vegan and the time when we used animal casings are thankfully past. But casein, a substance extracted from milk is often used in the production. This of course makes most condoms not an option for vegans.

Glyde instead uses a special thistle extract that has the same characteristics of casein, which means that they can ensure that no animal product is used in the manufacturing.

Condoms for big, small and in between

Glyde condoms come in different sizes, both large and small. Their largest condom, called Supermax have a width of 60 mm, the same size as Pasante King Size.

When it comes to the smaller condoms, they all go by the name Slimfit and has a width of 49 mm. They do however have different characteristics! A standard condom and a strawberry-flavored one.

Glyde of course have condoms in standard size as well! Ultra is an ordinary condom and the flavored condoms available are cola, blueberry and strawberry.
