Thin condoms are often the first choice among heterosexual couples. That a thin condom removes less of the feeling is completely true. The fact that it is just as safe as a normal-condom is unfortunately not entirely true.
Thin condoms tolerate less friction, which means that it breaks easier if exposed to the same friction as a normal thick condom. For anal sex, for example, it is recommended that you use a thicker condom because there is no natural lubricant. The same applies to "dry periods".
Do not forget to buy lubricant!
