Because it is not as resilient as a latex condom, it's wider to more people to use it. On the other hand, if you want a latex-free condom that is elastic and more like a "regular" condom, we recommend SKYN's condoms.
The higher price is due to the fact that the manufacturing process for plastic condoms is more complicated and that it is manufactured in small volume compared to latex condoms.
